How it works?

Upon the 1st receipt of an item to be shipped, a barcode and a tracking code are created and accompany the shipment until its completion and delivery of the item to the final recipient. By checking the barcode, at predetermined points, such as for example the receipt, loading and delivery of the item, the backend user (the person carrying out the shipment) can know at any time in which stage the shipment is at. Accordingly, by using the tracking code and entering it in a special field in the frontend environment of the application, the final recipient can check the status of his shipment.

The system, through its connection with a messaging platform, has the ability to inform the final recipient about the status of a shipment, both at the beginning, where the tracking code is created and sent in sms along with the corresponding search link for the frontend application , as well as at any additional control point chosen by the operator of the shipment, such as informing the user about the completion of the shipment and the receipt of his object.

Statistical Data

All the necessary information entered during the creation of a shipment such as personal and financial information, days and times of a receipt – delivery, category of an object, mean of carrying out the shipment, etc. can be presented in summary tables with the possibility of downloading them in a pdf file or excel. Filtering the above data based on specific characteristics as well as the possibility of searching for shipments on a specific date or period, through the use of an interactive calendar, are actions that can be executed.

The categorization and the visualization of the above elements aggregated, with graphs and other effects in order to draw useful conclusions is allowed by the system.
